ISRO Get preparing Chandrayaan-3… mission to be launched in 2020

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) failed to land on the South Pole of the Moon for the first time in September 2019. Now soon ISRO can send Chandrayaan 3 towards the moon. Sources say that the deadline has been fixed till November 2020 for this. ISRO has formed several committees.

For this, ISRO has held three high-level meetings of three sub-committees with the panel since October. This new mission will only involve lander and rover as Chandrayaan-2's orbiter is functioning properly.

Overview (review) committee met on Tuesday. In which the recommendations of various sub-committees were discussed. The committees have made proposals regarding operational power, sensors, engineering and navigation.

A scientist said that work is going on at a fast pace. ISRO has drawn 10 important points so far. Which includes landing sites, navigation and local navigation. Sources say that an official notice has been issued on October 5.

This notice states, "It is necessary that the recommendations made by Chandrayaan-2's expert committee to improve the lander system should be taken into consideration. The recommendations which were not implemented due to the advance flight preparation of Chandrayaan-2. ”Another scientist said that the priority of the new mission is to strengthen the legs of the lander. So that it does not crash when landing at high speed on the lunar surface.

Sources say that ISRO is building a new lander and rover. No final decision has been taken on the number of payloads on the lander. In September, ISRO tried to make Chandrayaan-2 a soft landing at the south pole of the moon, in which it could not succeed. However the orbiter is functioning properly and scientists say that it will continue to do its work for seven years.
